Let your scent linger. Grab your fave fragrance (here’s a whole slew of floral fragrances we love) and start spraying your hair. This will unleash the scent as your hair moves. The closer someone gets to your mane, the more your perfume will be noticed.

Spring is in the air, as so is cleaning and getting organized! Don’t run out and buy something new. Store your beauty brushes in something you already own. There’s bound to be something pretty in your place that’s perfect for holding your makeup brushes. Here are the items I scouted out in my own space that make for a fabulous makeup brush holder. Hope this inspires some stylish storage!
And now, it’s time for another Trend Bite! This week I wanted to share a little trick my friend Jackie Johnson (who wrote an amazing blue eyeshadow tutorial for Beauty Week, check her out!!) taught me. Shortly after picking up the tip, Donna from The Body Shop told me the same thing as she did my makeup for my event with The Body Shop. Oh and by the way, The Body Shop event was a total blast!! Recap will be up on Sunday!
Okay enough reading, time for watching! Prime those puckers!!
As you can tell, I am all about my new hot pink lip color! It’s from a new brand based in Brooklyn that I was just introduced a few weeks ago at the DBA gifting suite at NYFW. It goes on awesome and I’m in love with a few other things from the brand so check out their site, love their whole aesthetic.
Take Note: Not tested on animals, paraben-free, hypoallergenic. 33.3% of all sales on We See Beauty is donated to the We See Beauty Foundation that establishes and supports cooperatives.
Hello and happy Friday! It’s NYFW!!! Every season my inbox gets a few more invites than the season before, so I’m pretty bummed I didn’t block out time on my schedule to attend all the fun stuff, but I’m just thankful to be invited!
Life’s been busy, yet fabulous! And, you may notice that this is my second video with LuLu*s. Well, it’s going to be an on-going thing. I’m beyond excited, seeing as it’s literally one of my favorite shopping destinations! I feature them all the time in my TV segments and it’s because they carry all the top trends on a budget. I feel like LuLu*s was made for me … and I’m not just saying that.
This vid is pretty fitting for the season. Like I said, it’s FASHION WEEK! We’re all trying to keep up with the Jones’ of fashion. And even though this week is all about the following season, style peeps are dressed to impress with the latest spring trends. So, we made this quick vid to showcase a few of my favorite spring styles with the chilly temps in mind. So, do wear pastel, but don’t wear flip flops (I literally saw a girl wearing flip flops the other day and it was snowing out… seriously??). Okay, that being said, in look 3 I’m barefoot. To be fair, I thought my feet weren’t in the shot.

Ever since I realized plastic hangers were cramping my style (literally, they take up so much room!) I’ve made the switch to the skinny hangers. As much as I LOVE them (I can actually see what’s in my closet now) I step on them all the time and end up having to buy new hangers. Continue reading…
Happy New Year! It’s the last Friday of 2012 and that means this is the last Trend Bite of 2012. It also marks one year of Trend Bites!! Thank you so much for your support! If you haven’t already, check out the Trend Hungry on YouTube and subscribe so you don’t miss a bite!
My resolutions include cleaning out my makeup bag, selling the clothes I don’t wear (this has been on my to-do list forever!), wearing more emerald green, and mastering the cat eye. I know, these may sound a bit shallow, but these are just my style resolutions.
And if you must know, my hat is from The Wardrobe Boutique (can’t remember how much, but it was under $10). My top is from LuLu*s (I’m currently selling it on Threadflip), and my emerald green jacket is from Kohl’s for
$72.00 $36.00 (c/o).
Thanks for watching! Take a trip down memory lane and watch the very first Trend Bite.
