  • Simply cut out the design you’d like to use.
  • Peel off the clear plastic film, then stick that side of the design (should feel a little sticky) to the glass.
  • Hold firmly in place and rub a wet paper towel over the decal, just like how you’d apply the fake tattoo to your skin.
  • Peel the paper off gently to reveal your work.  Voila, a new decor accent. Use as a center piece or room accent.

{ Nailed It } Where To Score Sephora Nail Polish For Under $2

No your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you and yes that headline speaks the truth. I’ve scored Sephora by OPI nail polishes that usually sell for around $15, for under $2 — talk about a good deal! In fact I’ve scored a lot of beauty products, among other things, in the past for a lot less than what they normally retail for thanks to this place.

So where is it that I score such deals? Big Lots! Have you shopped there before? It’s one of those stores that has much more than you’d think with a price that’s nice.

Big Lots is a budget-friendly retailer and there I’ve also bought a table and chairs, a mirror, makeup, a headboard, and probably lots of of other little things I’m not forgetting about. Items vary by the location and selection is always changing, especially in the beauty isle.

As for these hues, I’m quite happy to have three nice neutrals for less than half of what one would cost. The names are pretty great too: I Only Shop Vintage, Queen Of Everything, Already Famous

{ Dare To Wear } Stripes + Floral

This outfit is made up of a few of my favorites (what else is new?). You may recognize the tank top I’m donning. It made a cameo last month on the blog & to be honest, I wear it so much that it only seemed fitting to make it the Dare To Wear item for August. Besides it being super cute & comfy, it also has pockets! Plus it passes the “messy Jessie test” with flying colors. I just coined that term now. Translation = I can wear it, forget to hang or fold it, and it still looks fabulous and ready for another wear.

Scroll on. New pics + style tips await.

{ Style Tips }

1. Mix prints with ease by keeping one print subtle. The stripes on the tank top are tiny enough to allow the floral pants to shine without competing.

2. Elevate your outfit with accessories. These French terry pants + this tank top = super comfy. Therefore these pieces can easily be styled ultra casual, say with slip-on sneakers or flat sandals. A hat + wedges takes this look a whole different direction.

3. Don’t worry about an exact match. Who ever taught us as kids that our shoes, and bag, and jewelry, and everything else need to match perfectly was putting us in a fashion box. Nobody puts baby in a corner or a box, so forget it. Yes, these cropped pants have a purple hue in them. It may not be the exact shade of the top but it totally works. Trust your eye.

{ Trend Hungry Tuesday } Body Bling

Today’s trend: body bling, aka body jewelry, aka if you follow Rihanna on Instagram then you know I’m talking about.

Rihanna rocked a whole lot of body bling and posted lots of pics to prove it, donning a bikini outfit including a body chain at the Crop Over Festival in Barbados.

Speaking of body chains, or body necklaces (both names work), it’s a long necklace that drapes over the front and back of the body. They look sexy with a swimsuit or even under clothes, so give a peek-a-boo accessorizing, Beyoncé and Jennifer Aniston have both been seen sporting body chains.

Vanessa Hudgens, she’s even worn a thigh necklace in the past. Another style setter rocking unique body jewelry is Zoe Kravitz, who has been spotted wearing shin chains. Clearly there are lots of ways to wear bling on your body.

This trend is easier shopped online, as I learned a few weeks ago hunting for body bling for a TV segment. I found a some cool thigh chains and other body bling on Etsy, all handmade and unique.

{ Dare To Wear } Vested Summer Style

Well hello August. This new month totally snuck up on me. Before we move on to new outfit post for this new month let’s recap July’s featured fashions. Sound good? Cool!

Like past Dare To Wear posts, items were worn on repeat (because don’t we all rewear our stuff?), but unlike other months, there were actually three pieces that made it into all three looks.

Why? Because it felt right. Do what feels right. Right? Right!

Okay, so can you spot which three pieces were in all three looks? Scroll on. Full blog posts with outfit details and style tips are linked below. Hope you like. If you’re inspired pin these pics to and use it as future outfit inspiration.
