As you may know, neon is hugely on trend right now and is not going anywhere anytime soon. While neon may sound intimidating, fear not!; there are multiple ways to rock this bright and bold look and who best to learn from than the always on trend Rihanna?

Neon Nails: Eye-popping nail colors are no longer reserved for summer! Keep your digits bright all year long with fun funky colors. You can even go a step further and add cute designs (like Rihanna’s smiley faces!) If you want to add just a bit of color, opt for a neutral nail and brightly colored tip. Shocking Shadow: Neon shadow may sound too busy, but if worn correctly it looks so modern chic! In this look, Ri’ gets funky with a pop of vibrant blue shadow. Notice how she keeps the rest of her makeup nude to really make her eyes pop. Also, when using such a bright shadow color, only apply color to lid; do not apply up to brow bone for risk of looking like Madonna circa 1985!

If you go for this look, remember to keep the rest of the face natural and even – so go light on the blush and bronzer.

Vibrant Locks: Go all out with the neon trend with a loud, vibrant hair color! RiRi’s red is shocking, but looks sooo good! If you want to go for it, a bright red or orange color looks best on medium to darker skin tones, and lighter pinks and blues look gorgeous on lighter skin tones (think Katy Perry’s famous blue ‘do).
