1. I was the kid in fifth grade that had a different nail polish on everyday. 2. I went to school for communications and LOVE the media. 3. I wear my I ‘Heart’ Ronson sale-rack grandpa cardi at least four times a week (it goes w/ everything!) 4.My mom believes in a candy bar a day and so do I! 5. My journalism teacher once said “Passion should dictate life.” I base my whole existence on those four words. 6. Anytime I got anything new I’d style it different ways and give my family a fashion show. I still do this, but for my boyfriend/roommate.

The Story 

I’m Jessie and I honestly started this site because I was working a lot for free after college and wasn’t fulfilled. The more I interviewed, the more I realized that I went to the beat of my own fashion drum.

I’m not rich, not dating someone rich, and not blogging pics of me in red-sole shoes since I really am on a skinny budget.

I got my first writing job at 16. My break into radio came at 19. By 21 I finished college, tried to mold into a 9-to-5er, and opted to waitress (humbling and teaches you new ways to accessorize black) while putting all my efforts into my real dreams as a fashion reporter. I just turned 24, love my blog more than ever, and now do radio and tv segment regularly for fashionistas on a skinny budget. I live with my musician boyfriend outside of Philadelphia and we eat a lot of pasta.
