These last few days have been crazy … literally! Working weird hours, planning a tv seg, blogging, and a Britney Spears’ concert left me without the luxury of hair-washing time.I still showered, just hyper speed.
Rather than looking like a complete grease ball, I opted for dry shampoo. I was a total dry shampoo virgin! I would just use baby powder – which does the job too, just more messy.
I’m going to explain how to use it, although I have a feeling this is the one trend I’m way behind on and reading this will bore you, but here goes.
I lifted sections of my hair, sprayed, and played with my hair a bit. That’s it!!!!
I own a few different kinds so a review will be up soon, but so far I’ve only used Psssssst Instant Spray Shampoo. It’s pretty much the pioneer of dry shampoo and for my first time it worked wonders.

Ruffles – they’re girly, fun, and totally right NOW. Celebrities like Demi Lavato, Rihanna, and Jessica Biel rock it and so can you! Score a ruffled, dress, a ruffle-tiered skirt, or a ruffled tank. They come in every size and all fit a skinny budget.
I found a ruffle top that happens to have another fabulous trend going on too!! Polka dots!

The black and white is so classic, but I’m really loving the blue. You?
It comes in green too, but you get the idea.

I’m not a bride or a bridesmaid, but I am a female and I like the thought of weddings and presents. Planning a wedding ain’t cheap and then you’ve gotta get your bridal party gifts?!?! Will the spending ever end?
Luckily, my newest fave-fash find is KYMJewelry she’s all about indulging on style and quality on a skinny budget – LOVE!!! She’s on Esty and her handmade jewelry is stunning. The designs are simple, chic and look fab on everyone – perfect for gifts (*wink, wink*).
To the brides on a skinny budget, feel free to include me in your wedding under the agreement that I get one of these beauts as payment…
Okay, here are a few of my faves.

Amy Winehouse was truly one of a kind. She made it big in music, had big hair, and partied big. To honor the late singer, let’s cherish her eccentric style. Feel free to tone it down or just rock one aspect for regular wear.
The Pouf – I don’t think I’ve seen a pic of Winehouse sans pouf. Not sure how she got it to stay in place, but the quick fix for a skinny budget is either a shit-ton of teasing and hairspray or Bumpits for only $9.99!
The Cat-Eye - Love this throwback look. Winehouse matched the 1950’s early 60’s style of music with makeup to create a look and sound all her own. To get the look line eye with eyeliner a do a slight upstroke on outward part of eyelid. I’d recommend a liquid liner such as …

The Tatts – Not many could pull off tattoos and make it look grungy glam. To try out this trend opt for the faux kind. They’re less of a commitment, cheaper, and there are lots of stylish options. Check out Temptu’s designs. They’re got a collection with House of Dereon for only $16.00. It’s for a limited time!!

Rest in peace and thank you for your legacy of music & style.
It’s hot out, I’m a bit sleepy, and today … I’m craving something light, breezy and effortless. You too? Ohh, and it must fit a skinny budget… duh!
Neutrals are always in fashion, but THIS summer they’re dominating and thanks to the minimalist trend. Found a light dress with a whimsical feel and it’s lightly priced too.
Tag: Pins and Needles Lace Two-in-One Dress, Orig. $59.99, Now $19.99 at Urban Outfitters.
It’s called a two-in-one. I couldn’t think of another way to wear it, so I’m assuming this refers to the two fabrics. What I love about this piece (besides the price) is that it’s plain, but it’s still really pretty and has character – love the lace mixed with pleats!!!
Pair with almost anything!! I’m feeling a delicate necklace and soft hair/makeup to match.
Sometimes it’s a tie-dye day. Today is one of those days. It’s a fun look, but can be professional too. And did I mention it’s comfy? Ohh … and on SALE!!!
This Tunic via Forever 21 is so chic. It’s the perfect way to wear tie-dye without looking sloppy or like a total hippie, just a pinch hippie. The model is wearing it with capris, but some tight white jeans and wedges will do just the trick. I love this look because it’s fun, cheerful, abd can be for work or play.
Rock it with some big wooden bangles, a tribal necklace, or even a simple cocktail ring will do.
